I guess his excuse will be he's just human. Joe Barron is a 52-year-old minister from Plano Texas. Undercover police who were posing as a 13-year-old girl had sexual online conversations with Mr. Barron for two weeks.

Soon after, Mr. Barron suggested meeting the girl in person. He eventually made a 200 mile drive to the place the girl lived, where he was arrested. Police were waiting inside the house for over two hours before he arrived. Police said they found a web-cam and condoms in Barron's car.

Barron is a minister at Prestonwood Baptist Church which one of the largest churches in the country with 26,000 members and 40 ministers. The church's executive pastor, Mike Buster, said that the church had no record or knowledge of previous improprieties or saw any inappropriate behavior in the 18 months Barron was on the church staff. - View comments...
