What are the largest United States cities?
Written on Friday, September 12th 2008 at 1:32 pm by alexWith all the talk about Hurricane Ike hitting Texas today, people are wondering how big Houston is, and what other cities have giant populations.
We found a great list of the largest cities in the United States, so here they are.
New York, New York (population 8,213,839)
Los Angeles, California (population 3,847,059)
Chicago, Illinois (population 2,842,753)
Houston, Texas (population 2,117,937)
Phoenix, Arizona (population 1,469,794)
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (population 1,456,350)
San Antonio, Texas (population 1,263,598)
San Diego, California (population 1,257,328)
Dallas, Texas (population 1,216,264)
San Jose, California (population 915,668)
What I find very interesting is, of the top 10 most populated cities, 6 of them are in Texas and California. - View comments...
