Another year and another summer are both coming to an end. The exact time was 8:44 am PST, or 11:44 am EST. It's officially the start of the Autumnal Equinox. Don't get this day confused with Daylight Savings Time, which will happen on November 2nd, 2008.

With just over three months to go until the end of the year, it's time to start winding down and getting ready for another long winter. Time to un-do the garden, get your snow equipment out and hunker down!
