Barack Obama and his half-sister, Maya, confirmed today that their Grandmother has passed away after her battle with cancer. This is the same grandmother who Barack Obama went to Hawaii to visit last weekend.

She grew up in Kansas, where Barack Obama was raised. She later moved to Hawaii where she lived out the rest of her life. She was in her late 80s. Our thoughts are with his family during this difficult time.

Now that Barack Obama has been elected the 44th president of the United States, something tells me his grandmother was watching down on him for this historic time in our history. - View comments...
