Madonna is the woman of the century

Written on Thursday, November 6th 2008 at 7:14 pm by alex

Unless you've been hiding under a rock for the last 25 years, you've probably heard of the world-famous recording artist, Madonna. Her full name is Madonna Louise Ciccone and is currently 50 years old. Hundreds of millions of people have purchased her albums, seen her live in concert, and purchased Madonna Tickets in their lifetime, and it doesn't seem to be slowing down.

But Madonna does a lot more than just make great music. She writes all her own music, produces movies, directs movies, acts in movies, and even has her own clothing line. Oh yeah, she plays guitar too.

Madonna's career really exploded in 1982 when she recorded her debut album called "Madonna", with the smash hit single "Like a Virgin". Since then, nobody has been able to slow her down. Madonna put out her 11th career album earlier this year, called "Hard Candy". She also hit the road on her "Sticky and Sweet tour" earlier this year as well. Can nothing slow this amazing woman down?

If you're only a teenager, you probably remember her at the VMA's when she famously kissed Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera live on stage after their performance. Some people say she did it to get attention, but people who know her know she did it to put on a good show, not to get attention.

No matter what you think of Madonna personally, you have to applaud such an amazing woman who has lived such an amazing life. 11 full albums and 8 world tours, and that's just her music career. Madonna is an inspiration for, not only women, but people all over the world to make the most out of their lives, and life to the fullest. - View comments...
